rustic bamboo bed by high touch

i am visualizing a room at the regent in fiji (which apparently is now the westin denerau) with this bed in it. how apropos that it is named the aitutaki (well, i was pretty close).
made from natural chunky bamboo, a more private sleeping experience can be had with a tug of the breezy curtains hung from the top.
but for those unfortunate bed linens, it looks like a raft you would lazily float down a river on in a dream.

this makes me want to lie on a beach somewhere, right now.

Bamboo is a great material, but I think this bed missed the mark. It looks like something on a camp site, not a luxury hotel.

hi oren,
yes, i can see what you’re saying, but maybe (just maybe) the sheer heft of it with the four posters and all would make it befitting of it’s $4000 price tag…?
thanks for your comment! 🙂
