delightful japanese flower floor light

i have a slightly dead spot to the side of my living room fireplace that’s very narrow. i think a trio of these floor flowers would cheer it up pretty well. they come from design ship tora from japan, which was created by a bunch of students and alumni over at the fukuoka design school. the switch to turn it on is the dot on the top.
i think the sculptural quality would be a pleasant addition to a room in the daytime, if there were no unsightly cords… they sort of look like modern bowling pins to me.
it doesn’t look like these are in production, but if anyone has a tip about them please let me know!

Simply beautiful, I’d love to have one of those at home.

Mm, same here. It’s such a shame that you so often run across ulta cool concepts and then never see them in production.
Let’s hope for this one!
