floral indulgence

i know it’s bad and wrong and i realize i’m not helping the green cause much because of this, because i know the fuel it takes to truck these things around the country, but i was feeling a tad blue and could not help myself! i had to buy those peonies, i had to get them some friends, and i had to take them home and put them in my anne black vase. and they needed to be pink.
such decadence in december!

It’s okay Gigi. We all deserve some indulgence now and then, and what that means is different for everyone. I’m sure you’ve racked up a ton a good karma buying locally and handmade. It is funny though when we set these rules for ourselves, and go wild and break a little one. I’m Ms. Organic Gourmet, yet every once in a while I just need a junky candy bar or fast food french fries. Besides, the flowers are beautiful and if they brought a little sunshine into a “blue” day, I’m sure the Local Gods will forgive you 🙂
