holiday ornament swap – #3

ed. note: check out the ornament #3 that my dear friend received – fine minds in cyberspace!
it was with gleeful anticipation that i tore open the padded envelope this weekend to find the third ornament i received in the swap. is this the funniest thing you’ve ever seen or what? better look twice or else you might think it was storebought, like i did!
that’s right, it’s a plastic tree shaped like the air freshener kind you hang from your rear view mirror, but not in that nauseating artificial pine scent – it’s a special swap scent! i am stunned by the meticulous packaging that it came in and my swapper’s precise cutting skills too!
once again, i am soooo glad i am participating in this experience. my creation is seconds away from being completed, so stay tuned – i just hope it’s up to snuff!
thanks michael!

these are fun, the packaging is amazing, I wouldn’t even remove it! they also look like those flat sugar cookies…speaking of cookies, I have to tell you that tastespotting site you referred me to is INCREDIBLE. I look at it everyday and salivate. I actually find it stimulating on a creative level, just looking at all those gorgeous pictures is like a sprinkle of magic on my brain!

hi paula,
i know — i was seriously considering hanging the WHOLE thing on the tree! 🙂 i decided that i will just keep it in the original packaging for storage – no way am i throwing it out!
so glad you like tastespotting – the photos are incredible and if you click through you will definitely find some really good recipes (and excellent food blog writers too)!
thanks for stopping by!

you are not going to believe this, but… my 3rd ornament received from the swap is a take on the air freshener, too! (different swappers)
great minds…
