holiday ornament swap – outbound
posted by the scholar on December 18th, 2007filed under: flotsam & jetsam, photography
hurrah! this past weekend my ornament for the swap was released into the universe! i went around town and took photos of old neon signs and altered the colors digitally, to create a laminated two sided piece that spells out the sentiment of the season. when you hang it, it’s free to spin and spell the word out in assorted color combinations.
i’m pretty happy with the way they turned out – i just hope all my swappers like them!

What a totally fun and imaginative idea. I can honestly say that this is not something I would ever have come up with. It’s bright, creative, encourages an upbeat emotion…great ornament! Your recipients are lucky!
