a: some gorgeous vintage modern french industrial furniture (like this double book shelf and chair), patterned after 19th century designer reactions to the elaborate pieces that were being produced at the time.

that big shelf is $799, which i think is a pretty competitive price if you are researching furniture/storage of that size. and it doesn’t look like it’s going to fall apart anytime soon either.
i could go nuts thinking about it too, but i just force it out of my mind.
