i think these funny tabletop sculptures and clocks from the canadian team of don gidley and sue parke are so much fun! i love the scratchy texture on all their handmade pieces and all the bright colors they use. you can really tell they enjoy making their delightfully whimsical collection.

find a wonderful assortment of don and sue’s work at uncommon goods, the human arts gallery, conversation pieces and maddi’s gallery.

These tin sculptures are wonderful! I love discovering new artists and art blogs so I’m having a whale of a time here, as you can imagine.

How can I get in touch with Don Gidley and Sue Parke? I’d like to purchase their work to sell in my garden shop/gallery!

I’m trying but cannot find out how to get in touch with Acme Animal. I would also like to purchase for our store Bejewel Gallery in Fredericton, NB. We are a jewellery/accessories shop that has been expanding into wymsical folk art such as “Out on a Limb” and glass works by Jon Sawyer and Bronte.

Sue and Don are selling (or handing down) Acme Animal to two women who have been working with them for years. Last I checked they were still at their 782 Pape Ave. Toronto, ON address- but their phone number wasn’t in service- perhaps they went to cells instead…???
They usually attend the “One of Kind Show” in Toronto as well as the Handmade Show in Philly.
