beautiful understated contemporary jewelry in sterling, gemstone and brass here by uk born, new york-based artist clare stoker-ring, aka etsy seller stamp. many of the pieces in her textural collection are named after things we find in astronomy, e.g., the constellation cuff, the shooting star earrings and the rising moon necklace.

the more i stare at the pieces the more i see the connection. there is something tranquil, light and dark, and slightly mysterious about it. just like the night sky.
see clare’s collection at her etsy shop or trunkt portfolio, cruise through her flickr stream and stop by her blog or website to say hello too!

beautiful and feminine are only two of the ways i could describe the jewelry of uruguay born, israel-based artist janine golbert aka etsy seller eninaj. having lived around the world and making a successful career in both graphic and interior design, janine decided to pursue her dream of creating her own line of jewelry and accessories. the resulting collection is intricate, expressive and sensual, featuring laser cut sterling silver, a soothing and surprising leather color palette, pearls and fabric.

all the things i love are present here: attention to detail, skillful technique, gorgeous patterns and unusual material combinations.
purchase these items and see the full collection at janine’s etsy shop.

so i’m minding my own business driving in the car and then a song comes on the radio that rattles around in my head for hours. does this ever happen to you?
today’s song was a tasty treat by beloved 70’s rock band foreigner. and it stuck around in my dome and that’s when i got this idea (perhaps a way to exorcise that demon song out of my brain?)
fill my eyes with that double vision…

the double-sided vivienne print from matte stephens

hand hammered sterling double bubble earrings from brooke medlin

double lolly tote bag from charlie and sarah

handprinted double bunny card (with carrot heart) from floating palace

double mint lip balm from cavendish soap works

the unappreciated gift print from sunny buick

two peas in a pod crocheted plushie from the yummy pancake

vintage lovely ladies figurines from racheltrouble

twin chairs pincushion from rabbits moon

twin pop print from anna tillett designs
ahhhh… it’s out of my head now. thanks for the help, etsy!

uncomplicated, pretty jewelry pieces from seattle artist lulu smith. lulu takes a painterly approach to her sterling and resin jewelry collection. the intense crispness that is the foundation of her designs is inspired by the magic moment we see something for the very first time.

i like her layered, luminous tones of color and simple shapes.
purchase her work at the artful home.

i am still feeling officially festive so please enjoy some fun glitter paintings and jewels from swedish artist tina for her galleri sindahl. her mixed media pieces are made of acrylic paint and glass glitter. many have metallic details too.

i am enjoying her different combinations of colors, gems, and materials in her unique line.

look here at these lovely sterling silver pieces from stitch and silver.

designer laura bradshaw finds inspiration in childhood memorabilia and found objects.

many of her pieces feel like one-offs, thanks to their unique rough textures, relief patterns and combination of matte and shiny finishes.

but wait, there’s more! how about these pins, made from recycled threads, felt, and vintage buttons?

of course, all this elegantly organic jewelry, as well as the deliciously quirky adornments, are made by hand.
purchase them here.
