an optimistic ashtray from industreal

i have no idea why i am drawn to ashtrays — i don’t smoke (and am not advocating it!), but i like this little porcelain one from by nadia biavaschi and alessandro camilli at industreal design.

it is encouraging, you know, for an ashtray.

bonus: because of it’s donutty appearance, it might just make a nice reminder for calorie watchers too.
