i’ve never had the experience of a bathing experience in stone, but i’m willing to learn in this gorgeous blue stone bathtub from dutch bath company balance. do i need to go on and on about the luxurious simplicity, the robust materials or the superior urbane organic style? i think not.
and i dig that el touch floor mount faucet too - coming in february!
see their website for dealer inquiries and more.

if you are a texture nerd like me you might go mad for these rough gemstone sinks and countertops from the rachiele company of florida. they are using large chunks of genuine stones like turquoise, amber and jasper to craft rugged, rustic pieces for commercial and residential interiors.

see the full selection on their website, including their beautiful copper countertops and sinks, which were featured in the 2006 hgtv house.

i wish my yard was big enough to fit this gorgeous sculpture! it’s made of cast stone and aggregates with a steel frame, and is meant to look like a fragment of a much larger sculpture. some of the components will age more quickly than others, adding even more poetic character.

it’s a substantial 36″ l x 24″ w x 9″ d and weighs 60 lb.
purchase it at dharmacrafts.

i like this hanger for a mud or vestibule room, or maybe even a bathroom. they’re made from naturally tumbled sea stones taken from the shores of new hampshire, and they come double, triple or quadruple stoned (really that does not sound right!).
each hook features copper hardware, dark or light hardwood back, and large, smooth stones that won’t cause snagging or misshaping. the materials are sustainable - for each stone “harvested” another rough quarry stone is “planted” in its place; for each tree used for the backs, ten times the number of trees are planted.
chances are you could make a very nice diy version similar to this rack. i know that i think this because i just saw that lovely sea urchin mobile at swallowfield. isn’t it pretty?

anyway, if anyone has or does make a beautiful rocky wall hook, please let me know!

i’m heavily digging these oil lamps from the rocklite candle company. they’re handcrafted from real stones, and have multiple fiberglass wicks, which won’t need to be replaced.

the rocks are hand selected from tennessee’s cumberland plateau, pennsylvania’s appalachian mountain range, and mexico.

each stone is sealed to ensure durability and to prevent leakage. simply pour candle oil through the opening, insert the wick, light up and enjoy.

for indoor or outdoor use.
no two are alike, of course.
snatch ‘em up here.
