who here among us likes pita? those who have raised their hands will love this little wallet/coin purse from israeli photographer and graphic designer anat safran. she’s made it out of cotton so it won’t get moldy if you leave it in your coat pocket or purse for a few days. and you can fill it with your favorite things, like an mp3 player or falafel (okay maybe not falafel).

why do i always see these things when i am hungry?
see more on anat’s website.

new york giants 21, chicago bears 16.
i’m not the biggest sports fan in the world, but my home team, which should have won today’s professional football game, bombed out in the 4th quarter. i think i like these other bears much more right now:

birthday print from milwaukee’s little friends of printmaking

polar bear on ski vacation blank greeting card from delray beach’s citrus tree designs

bear vs. robot wallet by chris bishop for portland’s tiny meat

handknit merino wool koala bear from houston’s barking dog designs

long time original acrylic painting from tampa’s christina lyon

happy bears tee shirt from brooklyn’s marilyn patrizio

the bear regretted his decision print from sydney’s yellow monday

handmade benedict bear from adelaide’s little red pear

roomscape polar bear collage from austin’s one creative girl
surprise! they’re all available on etsy!
i think we have enough players assembled here for the tee formation now…

say goodbye to crummy wallets that fall apart, with the funky hipster dosh wallet, by bluesky design from australia!

made of a special blend of recyclable thermoplastic materials, the dosh is durable and waterproof. besides the standard places to put your paper money and credit cards, there’s a unique integrated compartment for items including sim cards, keys, and other assorted things of that ilk.
a very modern, urban design indeed.
choose from a variety of hot colors, and purchase one here.

check out these supercool vinyl wallets from poketo!

ted vadakan and angie myung came up with the idea in 2003. they were designed by a handful of emerging artists, to act as memorable promotional pieces for the art shows they produced.

those first limited production pieces were intended to be a catalyst for conversation and ideas. the response was overwhelmingly positive. those lucky folks who met ted and angie a few years back now have a seriously ace collectible.

poketo today is a burgeoning network of artists from around the globe, and their inventory now includes apparel, bags, stationery, and home accessories. they are the official wallet designers for bands like arcade fire, the shins and postal service.

they still promote their artists by adding bios, contact info and matching pins to the insides of their wallets. for the full complement of ace products and to purchase, click here.
