patricia urquiola crinoline chairs
patricia urquiola can do no wrong! patricia urquiola can do no wrong! (i apologize if you hear this too much around here but i think it’s the truth.) i love the rustically styled weaving and inspired crewel work on the chair with the high backrest on these crinoline chairs.
distributed, natch, through b + b italia.
mind body spirit print
i like contrast of metallic ink against this soothing blue paper emily of orange beautiful used to make her mind body spirit print. also available is metallic ink on yellow paper, and black ink on white paper.
the 8″x10″ prints are just $10 each on etsy – a great deal!
teacup stool by mocha
speaking of teacups, for the children i am enjoying this playful oversized stool, inspired by alice in wonderland, by uk designer holly palmer for mocha.
made of mdpe plastic, these pieces come in 4 bright colors and are suitable for outdoor use.
you can find more info at the mocha website.
tap for tea cup by imm living
the 3 fingerprints on the saucer of this tap for tea cup from canadian-based designer willie tsang for imm living symbolize the ancient chinese tradition of tapping on your saucer in silent gratitude to the person who refills your teacup. i love the story behind it and the pop of color on the plate.
you can find the teacup for sale online at vidafine, and be sure to check out the other cool product imm living makes on their website (i am enjoying those totem cups right now).
